by car
When arriving from the south (Italy) by the Schönberg toll point, over the Europabrücke, get into Arlberg/Bregenz lane at Innsbruck-Bergisel junction, then take exit Innsbruck West-Airport, following signposting and turning off left in the direction of the airport.
When arriving from the north (from Germany via Garmisch Partenkirchen) - the Toll sticker is not required for access to Innsbruck Airport. From border crossing Mittenwald/Scharnitz in direction of B177 federal road (Zirlerberg, Innsbruck direction) - follow airport signposting.
When arriving from the east (from Germany via Kufstein), Kufstein border crossing, A12 direction Innsbruck Arlberg /Bregenz, leave A12 motorway at exit Innsbruck west - airport; turn left following airport signposting.
When arriving from the west (from Vorarlberg), coming from Bregenz - A12 motorway direction Innsbruck, leave A12 motorway at exit Innsbruck west - airport; turn left following airport signposting.
by bus
The public bus "F" departs every 15 minutes in front of the arrival hall. The trip to the main train and bus station lasts about 18 minutes and costs approx. 1,60 Euro one way. From the main station you can easily and quickly reach all main holiday resorts. By train for example you can get to Seefeld, St. Anton and Kitzbühel and by bus (Post) - you can continue your journey for example to Sölden, Mayrhofen etc.

Parking
350 outdoor parking spaces (Car parks P1 and P2) and 750 spaces in the multi-storey are available. 5 machines are available around the clock for payment of parking fee. All credit cards are accepted. The fees are: the first 30 minutes are free of charge, for 1 hour - 1.30 Euro, for 10 hours - 13 Euro, per day - 13 Euro, for 2 days - 24 Euro, for 3 days - 30 Euro, for 4 days - 36 Euro, for one week - 57 Euro, for 3 weeks - 120 Euro.

Banks - a branch of Bank for Tirol and Vorarlberg is located at the western end of the main terminal. The branch is open by appointment and there are three bank machines at which you can make cash withdrawals.
Catering - Café Ritazza (Departures hall, open: Monday-Friday 05:00 to 10:00; Saturday-Sunday 05:00 to 14:00), Eurest, Der Bäcker Ruetz (Monday-Sunday, open: 06:00-18.30)
Shops - Airport Shop, located in the main hall, open 7 days a week, offers newspapers, magazines, international press and books, tobacco and cigarettes, travel guide books, souvenirs, films and travel accessories. There is also Travel Value and Duty Free Shop.

History
On the 1st of June 1925 was open Innsbruck Airport in the Reichenau district and was inaugurated the scheduled Munich-Innsbruck service. On the 15th of January 1948 opened "Innsbruck-West" Airport at the Ulfiswiese site. Three years later started the Swissair destination Zurich-Innsbruck-Salzburg. On the 24th of April 1965 was the official inauguration of the new airport buildings. In 1976 was the installation of the instrument landing system. On the 9th of June 1989 was open the Tyrolean Air Ambulance centre. A year later, on the 14th October 60.000 people visited the 5th Innsbruck Airport Festival. In 1996 was founded the Airport Environmental Forum and on the 3th of October same year was open new arrivals hall.
