****NEW OPENING, 10 JUNE 2008**** Welcome to the L Hotel Dresden Altstadt! A comfortable way to explore Dresden by foot! From summer 2008 onwards there is a new and attractive hotel in Dresden for city visitors and business travellers. From this date the L Hotel Dresden Altstadt will open its doors for guests in the centre of the capital of Saxony - only 1 km distant from the old town and the River Elbe promenade. The comfort and design of the 162 guest rooms in modern style cannot be bettered. Two light and airy conference rooms are available, and these can be combined for business or celebratory events into a single large facility for up to 72 persons. Members of staff are at hand to assist you with your planning and organization. For your culinary well-being our banquet service can arrange food and drink according to your individual requirements. The hotel is an ideal starting point for cultural outings in the River Elbe metropolis. Popular sights such as the Semperoper, Zwinger, Frauenkirche and Residenzschloss are only a stones throw away from our new hotel. For night owls the in-district of Neustadt with its pubs and clubs is only a short bus or rail trip. Business travellers are close to the Congress Centre, located only a few minutes by foot from the hotel. From summer 2008 onwards you can enjoy Saxon hospitality in a modern environment! The L Hotel Dresden Altstadt is well connected to the public transport system. The bus stop Eissporthalle (Ice Sport Stadium) is some 100 m from the hotel. Dresden-Mitte station (with S-Bahn, Regional Express and tram connections) is some 500 m distant. From the main railway station or city centre take S-Bahn Line 1 towards Meiyen, Triebischtal station, or tram Line 1 towards Dresden Bahnhof Mitte station, or the Regional Express RE1 towards Garlitz as far as Dresden Bahnhof Mitte station (travelling time: 2-6 minutes). From there the hotel is some 5 minutes by foot. You can also take the city bus Line 75 from Bahnhof Mitte station towards Dresden Messe (trade fair grounds) as far as the Eissporthalle bus stop (2 stops) which is some 100 m from the hotel.
