Apollo Amsterdam tied back nicely against Den Helder Suns, but still narrowly lost
At the beginning of their mutual confrontation between Den Helder Suns and Apollo Amsterdam. This allowed the winner to move away from last place. After an exciting game, Suns came out on top: 81-79.
From the start, Den Helder Suns made the discovery against Apollo Amsterdam. They were also much better than the Amsterdammers. However, the margin was small due to not collecting free works: 40-27. Apollo did not give in and came back to 49-43 after five minutes in the third quarter. That made the score 59-53 after the third quarter.

In the last quarter, Den Helder again took a broad description of fifteen points. It remained exciting, however, as Apollo came back to 80-79. In the exciting final phase, Den Helder finally narrowly won the game 81-79. “We made it with hanging and strangling, but we made it very difficult for ourselves,” said Den Helder coach Peter van Noord.

“We came very close. If you come so close and lose him, it is very sour”, was the reaction of Apollo coach Wierde Goedee afterwards.
Den Helder Suns is eighth in the BNXT League with 10 points, Apollo is below with eight points.
