They are decorated with tapestries, mostly from the village of Aubusson, in France. Unfortunately, the quarters of Empress Maria Theresa, cannot be visited, as they are now used by the president of Austria. The court tableware and silver are extremely ornate, reflecting the splendor of the era. You can also marvel the Imperial Silver and Porcelain Collection, part of the Habsburg household of the 18th and 19th Centuries. The Imperial Apartments are associated mostly with the reign of Franz Joseph. A famous portrait of his wife, Elisabeth of Bavaria, Sissi, hangs on his apartment's wall.
