Alphabeto, the colorful and fun children’s clothing brand arrives in Portugal – News
Born in a small town in the interior of Minas Gerais, Alphabeto is a 100% Brazilian brand with almost 40 years, more than 100 stores throughout Brazil and 700 multi-brand sales. From creation, weaving, embroidery, printing, sewing, finishing and packaging, the entire production process is carried out internally by more than 800 employees.
After conquering the Brazilian territory, the brand has just arrived in Portugal. With the motto “dressing a child like a child”, it presents itself with a concept in which it promises to be playful, fun, inclusive and with a lot of love in every detail. The brand’s online store is already available and it already has plans to expand to physical stores.
“We believe in the magic that each child carries within themselves. Every smile, joke. And all of this is taken into account when we create our clothes. It is the little ones who inspire us, decorated with color and imagination in light, comfortable clothes, made to play and enjoy the best phase of life: childhood”, explains Diego Camilo, Head of Business at Alphabeto, in a statement.
Among girls’ dresses, one of the brand’s images, t-shirts, blouses, pants, sets and accessories, the online store’s catalog has unique pieces for boys and girls, from babies to children up to 10 years old. All pieces are handmade and tell a story through exclusive and very colorful prints.
Sustainability is also based on the philosophy of the brand. The factory uses 100% renewable energy and all the water used in the production process is purified in its own treatment plant, where part is reused in the sanitary facilities.
“There is a large Brazilian community in Portugal and I already had a great desire to expand Alphabeto to the European market. The opportunity finally arrived. We want to make the brand known to all Portuguese people because, in addition to the proximity between both cultures – such as the language and some customs – we feel a very strong connection with the country”, concludes Diego Camilo.
