Bali – On the Island of the Gods – Prague
A tropical gem among the more than 17,000 islands of Indonesia, which the locals call the Island of the Gods. Sail with us to a place where national sports are arranged and where smiling local natives will gladly drag you into a conversation. With traveler Michaela Struhárová, who has lived on this diverse island for a long time, she treats visitors to valleys shaped by rice terraces, sacred volcanoes, the most beautiful temples, beaches and waves, which are loved by surfers from all over the world. We’ll talk more about spiritualism and shamanism, how young people enjoy themselves, what subcultures can be encountered there, or what cultural differences exist between us. John completes his story with personal stories and reveals whether the motto EAT – PRAY – LOVE still applies to Bali.
Michaela Struhárová
she started traveling quite late and at work she visited mainly European countries. In 2015, she was given the opportunity to study Indonesian language and culture in Bali, which was her second home for a year and a half. She makes a living as a freelance content manager, and in addition to working for clients, she enthusiastically blogs about experiences not only from Indonesia.
