Albert Heijn in West robbed, perpetrator is on the run | Amsterdam
The Albert Heijn in Nieuwpoortstraat in Amsterdam-West was robbed by a man on Wednesday morning. He’s got something out and he’s not a fugitive.
Just after 8 a.m. a man entered the supermarket and the staff came with a weapon that gave him an unknown loot, later the man fled the store in an unknown direction. Police would not say what weapon the man used in the robbery.
After the robbery, the police searched the area around Nieuwpoortstraat in search of the perpetrator, but did not find him. A report was distributed on Burgernet that the police were looking for a light-skinned man with ‘striking white teeth’, a raincoat and a plastic bag from Albert Heijn.
No injuries were reported in the robbery.
