About Sunny Beach
Sunny Beach, situated on the Black Sea coast of Bulgaria, is the largest and most popular summer resort in the country. The permanent population of the town is very small, but during the holiday season more than 60,000 people find accommodation in Sunny Beach's 130 hotels and pensions. In recent years, the entire tourist infrastructure has undergone a substantial renovation and several new impressive apartment complexes have been erected. During the era of Communist rule, the town was visited mostly by Russian tourists. Today, it's frequented just as often by German, British and Scandinavian holidaymakers.
