About Cesky Krumlov
Český Krumlov is located in the southernmost region of the Czech Republic. The town's most famous landmark is the impressive Krumlov Castle, which is the Czech Republic’s second-largest in size, next to the Hradčany Castle in Prague. The architecture of the Old Town area is a unique combination of Gothic, neo-Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque influences. The core of the historical centre is situated within a U-bend of the Vltava River and connected with the rest of the town by a number of bridges. Český Krumlov has a museum of the famous painter Egon Schiele, who used to live in the town.
