About Levi
Levi is the largest skiing resort in Finland, featuring nearly 50 skiing slopes, 26 chair lifts, and the only Finnish gondola lift. The skiing season in Levi is very long, lasting from early October until early June. Apart from skiing and snowboarding, it offers a number of other exciting winter sport activities, such as husky dog and snowmobile safaris and cross-country skiing. The nearby fell of Kätkätunturi is perfect for enthusiasts of long walks in spectacular natural settings. The Snow Village of Lainio is a curious collection of cottages, hotels and wedding chapels, all made of snow.
