About Norwich
The capital of Norfolk, the city of Norwich, is the most eastern administrative capital in England. It has an enormous suburban area and a population of 123 483 people (a density of 3,165/sq. km.) Surprisingly enough, no sign of Roman influence can be observed in Norwich. The Romans had their regional capital V. Icenorum which is now on modern day Caistor St. Edmund.
