Altstadt
Salzburg is a city commonly associated with great composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart who was born here. Altstadt is a historic city centre of Salzburg. In 1996 it was registered on the Unesco World Heritage List. Major attraction of Altstadt is the house where Mozart was born. The building is situated by the Getreidegasse. Besides in the historic city centre you will also find other landmarks like: Collegiate Church, Church of the Franciscans, Cathedral, Archbishops’ Residence and St. Peter’s Abbey.
