Josefstadt
Josefstadt is an old part of Vienna located very close to the city centre. In the XVth century it was founded as a garden-city on the outskirts of the medieval Innere Stadt. At present it makes an ideal location both for tourists as well as for business travellers. The most interesting place to see on Josefstadt is: Maria Treu-Kloster with Piaristenkirche. There are also some attractions for culture lovers like: Museum für Volkskunde, Theater in der Josefstadt and Niedermair Kabarett. The Josefstadt theatre is the oldest theatre in Vienna, founded in 1788 and still giving wonderful shows.
