Leopoldstadt - Prater
Leopoldstadt is a district situated 2 km east of the city centre. Large part of it is covered by the most famous park in Austria called Prater. Giant Ferris Wheel located in this amusement park is probably one of the landmarks of Vienna. Another attractions of Leopoldstadt are churches: Karmeliterkirche, Kirche zum hl. Franz von Assisi, Kirche der Barmherzigen Brüder and St. Leopold Kirche. You should also see an interesting palace called Palais Grassalkovics. Both Leopoldstadt and Prater may be easily reached by underground, bus or tram.
