Schonbrunn Palace
Hietzing is a quiet, residential district located near Schoenbrunn Palace. It features lots of parks and small avenues. Most of the buildings in Hietzing represent biedermeier and art noveau style. One of them is the house of Johann Strauss. There is also an old cemetery with the graves of some noble city dwellers in Hietzing. Then you have to go to see the Schoenbrunn Palace which used to be the Royal residence. It has a great complex of gardens. The palace itself is opened for visitors. The interiors are very richely decorated and spacious and they also include some interesting paintings. As the whole complex is huge, you have to devote a lot of time to see it all.
