Bruges is the capital and largest city of the province of West Flanders, in the Flemish Region of Belgium. It is one of the main financial centres of Belgium, due to its port, and also hosts the College of Europe. The egg-shaped historic centre of Bruges has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since
