Place Royale is an elegant square, which was built between 1774 and 1780 in the style of Louis XVI. There is the Neo-Classic church of St.Jacques-sur-Coudenberg in the centre of the square. Beyond one of the lateral arch ways lies Museum Square, containing the former palace of Charles of Lorraine (1757).
