Neuve
Rue Neuve is one of the most popular shopping streets in Brussels. Also known as Nieuwstraat it is not the pushiest one, however it is crowded for most of the time. Unfortunately in May 1967 the Innovation department store collapsed here burying 300 people. The famous Rogier Tower which is is one of Brussels’ oldest skyscrapers is also situated here. At present it hosts the National Theatre.
