Ixelles is a district located very close to the city centre and linked with it by underground and bus lines. However if you like walking you may get to the centre on foot as well. There are shops, restaurants, hotels and cafes in the quarter. You may relax yourself in one of the most picturesque parks in Brussels called Leopolds Park. In the park European Parliament has its seat. There are also few great Belgian theatres in Ixelles: Varia and Nouveau Theatre de Belgique.
