Vysehrad Castle
The royal seat from XIth century, St. Peter and Paul Cathedral and the Romanesque rotunda of St. Martin church are the main tourist attractions of Vysehrad. The rotunda is the only remaining from the medieval fortress built by Vratislav II. If you decide to visit the cemetery you may see the tombs of many famous Czechs like: painter Alfons Mucha, sculptors: Josef Myslbek and Ladislav Saloun, architect Josef Gocar, opera singer Ema Destinova, composers Antoni Dvorak and Bedrich Smetana.
