Vinohrady
An elegant, residental district of Prague located east of the city centre. Its name means ‘vineyards’ as they grew here in XIVth century planted by the Czech king Charles IV. One of the most interesting building to see on Vinohrady is Market Hall designed by famous architect Antonin Turek. There is also the Neo-Gothic church of Saint Ludmila located on Peace Square. In addition to that you will find two interesting and peaceful parks on Vinohrady called Riegrovy Sady and Havlickovy Sady.
