Downtown
Downtown of Copenhagen is the most interesting part of this unique city and offers a big choice of attractions including some hotspots. There is a famous Tivoli Park located just by the main railway station. The park has been attracting tourists for over 150 years. Apart from its natural assets it features theme park with roller-coasters and Ferris wheel. Carnivals, festivals and other cultural events are also held in Tivoli. Next to the park you will find two interesting museums: Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek which includes pieces of art that come from the ancient times and National Museum that is a must for all those who want to make themselves familiar with Danish culture and history. There are also many theatres and cinemas nearby. Few steps away from the National Museum you will find Slotsholmen that is a seat of Danish parliament. Then it is a good idea to visit Charlottenborg Palace which was built for the Royal family but now it houses Royal Academy of Fine Arts.
