Kongens Have - Kastellet
Kastellet is an old citadel situated in the northern part of downtown Copenhagen. It is dated back to 1626 when the construction works began. At present it is used by Danish military intelligence. Tourists and dwellers of Copenhagen often go for a walk on the walls around Kastellet. You can enter it either on foot or riding a bicycle. The surroundings are very tranquil. Kongens Have is the oldest park in Denmark and it is also concerned as one of the most beautiful. There are few monuments in the park including the sculpture of Hans Christian Andersen. The park is opened all day long and if you like to relax during your stay in Copenhagen you have to see it.
