Bibliotheque Nationale is situated in the city centre of Paris close to Louvre. The library was founded in 1368 by Charles V. However the present building was constructed in the nineties and opened to public in 1996. Now the library contains over 10 milion volumes. Close to Bibliotheque Nationale you will find two important financial institutions: stock exchange (La Bourse) and Banque de France. Another attractions are: Palais Royal and Jardin du Palais Royal.
