16e: Trocadero
Trocadero is an area situated 1 km west of the city centre on the right bank of the river Seine. The main hotspot of the district is Palais de Chaillot which is located in Trocadero gardens (Jardins du Trocadéro). The palace houses four interesting museums: Musée national de la Marine, Musée de l'Homme, Musée national des Monuments français and Musée du Cinéma Henri Langlois. Bois de Bologne is one of the biggest parks in Paris situated west of 16eme district. It covers an area of 8.459 square kilometres which is twice more than New York’s Central Park. It is a great place for relax during the day. Nevertheless at night it is quite dangerous.
