8e: Champs Elysee
Champs Élysées is considered as the main avenue of Paris. Thus few hotspots are situated next to it. The avenue stretches from Arc de Triomphe to Concorde Square and Tuileries Gardens. All official celebrations and parades are held here. In addition to that by the Champs Élysées you will find lots of shops, cafes, cinemas and theatres. It is also a good idea to visit Palais de la Decouverte. It is a museum devoted to science. Inside it you will find exhibitions linked with such disciplines like: chemistry, physics, maths, earth science, astronomy and social science. The museum is situated by Grand Palais on the right bank of the river Seine. Very close to Palais de la Decouverte you will find theatre du Rond-Point.
