Treptow
Treptow is a neighbourhood situated southeast of the city centre. However it can be easily reached by bus and underground. Treptow used to be one of the main quarters of East Berlin. Thus there are some remainings of that time there. One of them is Museum der Verbotenen Kunst that is situated in the former watch-tower. There is also a very peaceful Treptower Park with a monument that commemorates Russian soldiers buried in the park
