Lichtenberg
Lichtenberg was formerly East-Berlin neighbourhood. The district is situated just 8 km of the city centre. It is mostly a residential area. Nevertheless you may find here some tourist attractions. Many of them are connected with so-called ‘Cold War era’ for example Stasi Museum or Deutsch-Russisches Museum. Nevertheless there is also an interesting park, zoo and palace in the quarter called Friedrichsfelde.
