Lehel is a peaceful district situated very close to the city centre on the banks of the Isar River. Englischer Garten is just a stone’s throw from Lehel. The neighbourhood offers few attractions, mainly museums like: Bayerisches Nationalmuseum, Neue Sammlung and Museum für Völkerkunde. There is also an interesting St. Anna cloister.
