University - Exarchia
University of Athens is situated in the historical centre of Greek capital. The shape of the building was designed by Christian Hansen and the works started in 1839. Inside it you will find frescoes painted by the Bavarian Karl Rahl. Nowadays the univeristy is the largest and most famous Greek educational institution. It employs 1700 professors and 800 administrative personnel while 70000 students attend to the lectures. National Library and interesting Numismatic Museum are just steps away from the univeristy building.
