District XI
District XI is also known as Ujbuda and located in the southwestern part of Budapest. It consists of many smaller quarters called: Kelenvölgy, Kelenföld, Lágymányos, Albertfalva, Gellérthegy, Sashegy, Gazdagrét and Őrmező. The most famous part of Ujbuda is Gellert Hill. There are hot springs at the footsteps of it and many spa hotels including legendary Gellert are located here. On the top of the hill you will see Turkish fortress that was later transformed into Citadella by the Austrians. Another attractions are Liberation Monument and small military museum.
