Parnell Square
Parnell Square is situated in the northern end of O'Connell Street which is thought to be the main Dublin's roads. In the vicinity of the square you may find two big attractions. One of them is the Dublin Writers Museum which is devoted to such famous personalities like: James Joyce, George Bernard Shaw and William Butler Yeats. The second hotspot is the Hugh Lane Municipal Gallery that promotes modern art exhibits. On the northern part of the Parnell Square you will also find the Garden of Remembrance which is a memorial commemorating all victims of Anglo-Irish war that took place in years 1919 – 1922.
