Colosseo and Foro Romano
Roman Colosseum is the legendary monument located next to Capitol Hill. It was build by Titus, Vespasian and Domitian between 70 and 82 A.D. This huge amphitheater could hold over 50 000 spectators. There were eighty entrances for visitors. Throughout the ages it played a role of theatre, gladiators arena and sports stadium. Even such events like sea battles took place here. Each level of seats was meant for different classes of people - from emperors, through patricians to ordinary citizens.
