Another depiction of 'Last Supper', however, this time it is housed in the Convent of Sant'Apollonia. Completed after artist Andrea del Castagno's visited Venice, the work occupies one of the walls of the convent's refectory. Right next to the main depiction one can view several additional scenes,

This religious complex, which constitutes a church and a convent, was recently converted into a museum featuring a valuable collection of manuscripts. It was here that Fra Angelico, the 15th-century Renaissance painter, and religious leader Girolamo Savonarola used to live in alternating years.
