Via Veneto
Via Veneto is one of the most picturesque streets in Prague also called the road of Dolce Vita. It leads from Piazza Barberini to Villa Borghese. Barberini Square is an example of baroque architecture. There is the Fountain of Triton on the centre of the square. This fountain was designed and made by Bernini in 1643. In the Barberini Palace tourists mostly visit the National Gallery of Ancient Art with many interesting exhibits and collections. Villa Borghese is surrounded by the peaceful, romantic park with many small alleys and elegant fountains. The park is quite huge and you can almost get to the banks of Tiber after a few minutes walk. There is a Borghese Museum and Gallery with great collection of paintings and sculptures in the centre of the park. On the exhibition you can admire masterpieces of such artists as: Titian, Raphael or Caravaggio. Then it is a good idea to go back and see the Spanish Square. It is one of the major Roman attractions. There are Spanish Steps that lead to Church of Santa Trinita dei Monti and Egyptian obelisk. The church was founded in 1495 and is considered as a pearl of architecture. It is just a stone’s throw to the panoramic terrace of Pincio that is a great viewing point just above the historic city centre.
