Flaminio is a district situated 1 km north of the city centre between Villa Borghese and Tevere river. Piazza del Popolo is considered as the heart of Flaminio. By the square you will find an interesting S. Maria del Popolo church. There is also famous Villa Medici nearby. The most picturesque park in Rome called Villa Borghese is within walking distance from Flaminio. The park is a great place to relax. In addition to that there are few museums in Villa Borghese like: Museo e Galleria Borghese, Galleria Nazionale d'Arte Moderna and Museo Nazionale Etrusco.
