Murano
Murano is a small island situated north of the city centre of Venice. It is famous for glass producers who came here in the XIIIth century. As a result on the island you will find Glass Museum (Museo del Vetro). Another attractions are churches: Basilica dei SS. Maria e Donato and Chiesa di San Pietro Martire. From Murano you will get to the city centre of Venice by boat. The ride takes only few minutes.
