Santa Croce
Santa Croce is an area situated between San Polo and Cannaregio very close to the main railway station and within walking distance from St Mark’s Square. There are two interesting museums in Santa Croce: Museum of Natural History (Museo Civico di Storia Naturale) and Museum of Oriental Art (Museo d'Arte Orientale a Ca' Pesaro). If you like arts you should go to Teatro Palafenice or Galleria Internazionale d'Arte Moderna a Ca' Pesaro. In Santa Croce you may also see few churches: Chiesa di San Giacomo dall'Orio, Chiesa di San Stae (Eustachio) and Chiesa di San Zandegolà. Another hotspot is Palazzo Mocenigo which houses Museo di Storia del Tessuto e Costume.
