Chiado
Chiado is a district situated in the historic city centre of Lisbon between Bairro Alto and Baixa. Thus all major attractions are within walking distance as well as river Tejo and ferry terminal. Chiado is commonly associated with the cafe ‘A Brasiliera’ that was a meeting place for intellectuals such as: Fernando Pessoa, Almada Negreiros and Eça de Queiroz. At present Chiado is a famous shopping area.
