Moratalaz - Puente de Vallecas
Both Moratalaz and Puente de Vallecas are suburban districts situated in the eastern and southeastern part of Madrid. Princess Letizia Ortiz, pop musicians Melendi and Alejandro Sanz, and a journalist and writer Elvira Lindo are the most famous people who lived here. Another interesting personality is a cook Antonio Galbis. In 2001 he prepared the biggest paella on the world. The dish was eaten by over 100,000 people and this event gave him a place in the Guinness Book of Records. Moratalaz and Puente de Vallecas are linked with the city centre by undeground and bus lines.
