Centre de la Ville
City centre of Geneva is full of interesting monuments. The most famous of them is St. Peter cathedral. When you get inside, you may admire Romanesque portal that was created in the early Middle Ages. Another attraction is a giant Flower Clock which is located in English gardens on the shore of Lac Léman. Then you should walk through famous Treille Promenade that was built in the 16th Century. There is a statue of Pictet de Rochemont at the end of this boulevard. In addition, by the promenade you will see lots of chestnut trees which are characteristic for Geneva. During a stay in the city it is considered as a must to visit the International Museum of Reformation which is devoted to John Calvin. Another recommended place is the Museum of Art and History.
