Besiktas is an area situated very close to Bosphorus beyond Dolmabahce Palace. All hotspots are very easy to reach by local means of transportation. In addition to that there are several attractions in Besiktas. First of all you should visit two interesting museums: Maritime Museum and Painting and Sculpture Museum. Then it is a good idea to see Sinan Pasa Mosque. Not far away from it there is Ciragan Palace. It was built in 1874 for Sultan Abdul Aziz. Next to the palace you will find Yildiz Park that is a great place to relax.
