Castle Hill

Also called the Castle District, this is the area where you can find all the principle tourist attractions of Budapest. They include the Fisherman's Bastion, the Royal Palace and Matthias' Church. This charming district of Buda is also full of magnificent baroque houses and charming little cafes. Regarded as one of Budapest's major sights, Castle Hill has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site due to its beauty and historic importance.
