Cathedral of Jesus' Heart

The Cathedral of Jesus' Heart is the largest Catholic church in Bosnia and
Herzegovina. Situated in the picturesque old town of Sarajevo, the cathedral
was built between 1884 and 1889. The construction, which was heavily damaged
in the Siege of Sarajevo in the beginning of the 1990s and later restored, has
distinguished neo-Gothic and Romanesque elements and was planned to
resemble Notre Dame de Paris.
