This small square is set in the green area of Buda, just off the Lanchíd (Chain Bridge). It was named after Clark Adam, the well-known British engineer who worked on the construction of the crossing. In its vicinity is the Castle District, Funicular, which leads directly to the Royal Palace.

Built in 1896 on the occasion of the Hungarian millennium, the Heroes' Square is an important testimony of 19th-century Hungarian nationalism. Situated at the entrance to the famous City Park (Városliget), this wide-open square is one of the few left-overs of the Communist era.

Bearing the name of the splendid Hungarian writer, Mihály Vörösmarty, this small square is situated just behind the most luxurious hotels on the Danube embankment of Pest. The imposing marble statue by Ede Telc stands in the middle of the square and is juxtaposed to the south by the Luxus Department store and Váci utca.
