The Linnanmaki Amusement Park is the largest establishment of this kind in Finland. It first opened its doors to visitors in 1950 and since then has enjoyed growing popularity. In 2004 alone, it attracted more than 1,3 million guests. The park features 41 amusement rides as well as plenty of other attractions. Every summer an open-air stage hosts performances by famous artists.
