Art Galleries in Brussels

Displaying both classical art and more contemporary pieces, Brussels’s countless art galleries cater to a wide range of interests. Among the main galleries in the city, the following can be mentioned: Palace of Fine Arts, Guillaume Charlier Museum, Museum of Ancient Art and Brussels Museum of Modern Art (the two latter are housed inside the Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium). For those interested in modern art, there are impressive installations at the Centre of Contemporary Art and Museum of Modern Art. While not on every tourist’s list, a visit to the Belgian Centre of Comic Strip Art may also be a worthwhile experience.
