Art Galleries in Barcelona

In Barcelona, there is no shortage of exciting art galleries to sample. It can be safely said that local galleries will appeal even to those who would not normally consider themselves art aficionados. Picasso Museum is the city’s most popular art gallery, with more than a million people visiting it annually. Like two other great galleries, Gaudi and Miro Museums, it has a special section for children. After the visit, you may buy an artistic souvenir or a creative postcard, which are often more attractive than those found in gift shops around the city. The best places to appreciate modern art while in the capital of Catalonia are Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art (MACBA) and Contemporary Centre of Barcelona (CCCB). Entry to many of Barcelona’s art galleries is low-cost or even free.
