The Finnish National Opera is housed in a magnificent shiny white building and one of the symbols of Finland's capital. The Opera House lies picturesquely on the shore of Toolonlahti Bay and is in operation since 1993. It can host up to 2000 guests and is the leading institution of its kind in the country. The number of the visitors amounts to 250 000 annually.
