At night, the Eternal City becomes the capital of eternal partying as most venues are open late into the night and it's not an unusual sight to spot revellers leaving bars and pubs early in the morning. All week long, the nightlife venues in Rome brim with live music and the hubbub of excited party-goers chitchatting over their favourite drinks. Join in on the fun, but if you plan to visit a bar in the afternoon, be sure to check beforehand whether its owners did not close it for siesta time. In Italy siesta usually lasts from around 3 to 8pm.
